This section was inspired by a candid moment with a sensitive regular at our Padua store. During one of her visits, Elisa, with all the expressiveness of a lovely, gentle, and passionate face—shared her regret over no longer being able to admire garments online once their purchase inevitably removes them from the catalog.
We thus realized that our deliberate, protective choice to spare clients the frustrating bitterness of the words sold out was actually being experienced in the exact opposite way.
Why make them disappear? Why not keep a permanent trace of them?
Elisa’s valid questions...
And, one might add, why erase from memory those rare, often one-of-a-kind pieces—unique not only because they are lost to time, but above all because IVO MILAN was alone in selecting them during the most daring and distinctive moments of various buying seasons?
To be able to discover them anew, cultivate a familiarity with them, and perhaps share their timeless beauty with a fellow aesthete—that enduring quality characteristic of a work of art, bridging design and fabrics of extraordinary craftsmanship, standing as exceptional milestones in the history of fashion.
Embracing that food for thought, we decided to give continuity to those fleeting presences by placing them in a "dedicated room" a sort of:
«We had the pleasure of having been in this place.»
It is also an opportunity to better understand the connection between the historic name of the store and that Radical Fashion which articulates and defines its vision.
